Premier Fire & Security, Inc., or as it was originally known, Western Kentucky Sprinkler, was a company established with quality service as its cornerstone. Our founder, Larry Hickey, had a vision to bring small town values to the industry while ethically servicing all of his clients’ sprinkler needs. That was 1974. That commitment to customer service remains unchanged today even as the company has expanded to meet the ever-evolving fire protection and security needs of our clients.
From the very beginning, safety has been our priority. We believe that it is our responsibility to create healthy work environments regardless of harsh conditions. We want our employees and our customers’ employees to feel confident doing their jobs and to return home safely each and every day. It is for this reason that we can proudly say, “Protecting lives and property since 1974.”
Finally, we believe in quality. We have a staff of in-house NICET Certified Designers to oversee all system designs for sprinklers and a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) for our data systems. Our team is constantly undergoing training and continuing education as we strive to stay a step ahead of the competition. This commitment to quality has allowed us to work with various universities, over 35 military bases, the US Coast Guard, and even the Department of Energy.
