My mother was an animal activist before I knew what that meant.  She would take in abandoned animals and care for them.  She bought 3 acres eventually and just took them in.  She had to get a kennels license finally as she had so many.  She fed them and took care of them on her limited income and loved them all.   My niece has become an animal rescuer in her own right, following in your grandmother's footsteps.   We are animal lovers and this is such an important cause.  I want to honor my mother and her love and selfless dedication to animals in need by raising funds for the Idaho Humane Society during the See Spot Walk event.  Please help me help these amazing creatures and honor the work and love my mother started over 40 years ago!
