I am participating in memory of my baby brother, Jon - “JG”, as I affectionately called him (he called me “Freddy”). JG was optimistic, witty, clever, a nature-lover who was happiest outdoors -camping, hiking, cycling and running. JG was extremely accomplished and respected ( a university professor, Ted Talk speaker and the only PhD in the family) and he was a much-adored son, father, husband, brother, cousin, uncle and so much more, to so many. But for me, first and foremost, he was my baby bro. Someone I’d lean on to help me through shared heartaches and someone who cheered with me during shared celebrations. Despite a fiercely optimistic fight, devastatingly, we lost JG on November 19, 2021 - only six weeks after being diagnosed. We honor you today, Baby Bro, and will continue to walk with you in our hearts every single day. Always Loved, Never Forgotten, Forever Missed.
