CPKC has a very long history with the military and as a way of giving back we came together to raise awareness and money for veterans experiencing homelessness in Canada and the U.S.
The 2025 Spin for a Veteran events will be held October 4, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m MT (7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT) in Calgary, Alta., Kansas City, Mo., and Monterrey, NL.
In 2024, CPKC employees, service personnel and corporate teams spent 12 hours on spin bikes to raise funds and awareness for charity partners that focus on housing homeless veterans in Canada and the U.S. More than $560,000 was raised during the 6th annual Spin for a Veteran event.
Since the event started in 2017, more than $3 million has been raised to assist in building tiny homes and support veterans with the re-integration into civilian life.
