We empower individuals with the tools and resources they need to pursue their dreams, navigate challenges, and contribute positively to their communities.

At G.O.D, we prioritize the needs of justice-impacted individuals, particularly women and survivors of gun and domestic violence. Our direct reentry pathway training includes job readiness programs, workforce development, entrepreneurship services, and access to case management and counseling. We also offer immediate mutual aid through emergency basic needs care packages, ensuring individuals have essential supplies during their first 30 days post-release or starting over.

SERVICES

After an individual assessment of one's emotional and social needs, probation or parole mandates, they are referred to our many community partners for supportive services. They have access to free mental-health care, individual, group or family counseling, substance abuse counseling, anger management classes, DCF  accredited parenting classes, and free tattoo cover ups for any gang-related tattoos.

​As system survivors, we uniquely have a first-hand understanding of the history and impact of racism and inequities.  We understand the multiple levels of harm and barriers that exist for justice- impacted women and families.  

​We provide a comprehensive cultural -gender equity lens approach and best practices responses to our violence prevention and advocacy programs.  As justice impacted women, we uniquely understand the health, safety, and wellness needs of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and families.
