Founded in November 2023, Yrudition was created to address the traumatic lived experiences youth navigate daily within their communities and to support pathways toward meaningful, life-centered transformation.
We recognize a critical reality: many of our youth are living in a constant state of neurological and emotional stress. Exposure to community violence, substance use, post-traumatic stress, and adverse childhood experiences directly impacts brain development, behavior, and decision-making.
Yrudition exists to shift this reality—supporting young people in moving from survival-based responses to regulated, intentional, and empowered ways of living.
Through trauma-informed, culturally grounded approaches, we design and facilitate experiences that center voice, identity, and healing. Our work integrates neuroscience-informed education, restorative practices, and life-centered mentoring to create spaces where youth can reflect, grow, and lead.
Our core offerings include Resilience 360 Circle Experiences, support and psychoeducational group facilitation, and our signature program, This Is Your Brain on Guns—a life-centered violence prevention model focused on helping youth understand their triggers, reframe decision-making, and reconnect to community and culture.
Yrudition partners with schools, community-based organizations, and institutions to design and deliver programming that strengthens emotional regulation, builds social connection, and supports long-term behavioral change.
Led by experienced practitioners in behavioral health, trauma, and youth development, Yrudition is committed to bridging community wisdom with structured, transformative practice.
