The Made Different Initiative was created in 2025 to uplift, guide and empower youth, families and communities through positive wellness events, mentorship, and service. We believe every person deserves support, opportunity and a safe space to grow regardless of circumstance.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to create safe enjoyable spaces for entire families and communities while also cultivating future leaders by providing mentorship, resources and development opportunities. Guided by excellence, innovation and inclusivity, we empower individuals to grow and make lasting impacts in their communities.

What We Do:

The Made Different Initiative provides positive experiences and resources that help youth and families feel supported, encouraged and connected.

• Monthly community events through our Safe Saturday's program that service the entire family network from kids to elders.
• Bi-weekly youth mentorship support circles to promote personal/professional development in youth.
• Community service projects 
• Provide holistic wrap around services to support, guide and encourage families in underserved communities.
• Wellness initiatives to support mental and physical health.

Our work is rooted in love, leadership, and community, meeting people where they are and helping them move toward purpose.

Why We Run:

As a newer nonprofit, every step in this race helps us continue creating safe, positive, and meaningful opportunities for youth and families. Funds raised will go directly towards events, programming, mentorship, supplies and resources for our community.
