Ten years ago, I was faced with the unthinkable. A diagnosis that shook my world, tested every ounce of my strength, and forced me to redefine what it meant to truly live.
Sarcoma — a rare and aggressive cancer — became my greatest challenge. But instead of letting it break me, I made a decision: Challenge Accepted.
I chose to fight.
I chose to move.
I chose to rise.
With every treatment, every tear, and every moment of fear, I held onto hope. I trained for American Ninja Warrior while undergoing cancer treatment. I married the love of my life just two months after being diagnosed. I made a promise — not just to survive, but to live fully, fiercely, and with purpose.
This year marks 10 years cancer free. Ten years of reclaiming my health, building a life rooted in resilience, and helping others do the same.
To honor this milestone, I’m raising funds for Steps to Cure Sarcoma — an organization close to my heart, dedicated to advancing research, raising awareness, and offering hope to others navigating this brutal disease.
Every step, every dollar, every act of generosity helps fuel the fight — not just for me, but for every person who hears the words, “You have cancer,” and chooses to say, “Challenge accepted.”
If my journey has inspired you in any way — through movement, mindset, healing, or hope — I ask that you join me. Let’s step forward together, for those in the fight, for those we've lost, and for the future we’re building — one filled with courage, strength, and a cure.
With deep gratitude and love,
Dr. Arianne Missimer
