Welcome to Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina. We are parents who have children serving or have served in the US Military. This non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organization serves to support one another, support our troops, support our Veterans and promote patriotism in our community. We are a chartered chapter of Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. (South Carolina Chapter SC#8) It was chartered in Oct. of 2008. We have members with children in every branch of the military, all different ranks, all different jobs. We have Members with Active Duty, Retired and Veteran children.

Membership is open to Mothers and Grandmothers, Stepmothers who have raised the child who is serving or has served. Membership is $30 a year. We do offer Associate Memberships to Aunts, Sisters, Wives, Cousins or others who wish to support and help with the many things we do. Associate Members do not pay dues, but, they cannot become an Officer, cannot vote, cannot make a motion. These rules and regulations were put in place back in 1942 when Blue Star Mothers of America was first conceived. It was Chartered thru Congress in 1960.
