Mia is an amazing sister daughter and bestie to her 4 siblings, mom, dad, and countless other friends and family.  She brings joy, laughter and positivity into the lives of everyone she meets.  An identical twin born at 27 weeks, she has been fighting every day of her life.  She works impossibly hard every day to build strength and independence - battling epilepsy, hydrocephalus, significant cognitive delays and severe CP.  Despite her challenges Mia continues to show up every day  - showing us that even the most simple gifts should never be taken for granted.  She has been receiving therapy from UCP since she was one, and has now transitioned to their education program full time.  The work and dedication of the UCP staff continues to amaze us - and her gains would not be possible without their expertise.   Join us in supporting an organization that has changed Mia's life and so many others like her.   It may be a madhouse, but it is ours, and it is wonderful.
