The mission of the San Mateo Police Activities League is to "build the bond between cops and kids" by providing sports programs, enrichment activities and trips, life and leadership programs, family and community events and mentorship to youth aged 5 to 20 years old. PAL aims to serve our youth to keep them safe, supported and engaged in positive activities, while allowing access to programs that may otherwise be out of reach. We work to reduce youth gang involvement, juvenile delinquency, dangerous youth behavior and economic disparities while enhancing self-esteem, life and leadership skills, mental health, and physical wellness through a variety of enrichment and recreational activities, classes, trips and events. Our goal is to empower youth to realize their potential and become active, productive members of their communities.
