The Dylan Duncan Memorial Skatepark, originally called the Kingwood Skatepark, opened as the city of Houston’s first public skate park in 2004. In December 2006, the park was renamed in honor of local skater Dylan Duncan, who died tragically in a plane crash in 2005.  The park is shared by skateboarders, rollerbladers and BMX'ers.

In 2019 maintenance and various repairs were made thanks in part to then City Council Member, Dave Martin.

Today in 2025, due to storms/weather the park is in need of repair, renovation and enhancements.  All donations made will go towards this effort and plans for expansion.
