Max's Warriors have joined together for the second year to raise money and awareness for EHE. And to honor the memory of Max.  Max was diagnosed with EHE in October 2023. At that time, he was given a year or less to live.  However, they didn't realize how physically and emotionally strong Max was.  Or how strong and determined Max's wife Sandy and their 6 kids (and 14 grandkids!!) were.  As Max's sister-in-law (Sandy's sister) I was able to witness the love Max, Sandy, and the whole family have for each other.  Max's final goal was to be with his family for Christmas 2024.  He was up and around, cracking is famous one-liners, and sitting in his 'fort' on Christmas Day.  The following day, his daughter/family arrived from Idaho.  At that point he felt like he could let go.  Within 12 hours he had passed from this life and on to his heavenly home.  I am still in awe of Max's strength and the boundless love he and his family share.
