I've spent much of my life in the Hudson River Valley - from Albany to NYC to my current home in Peekskill. Paddling the Hudson River for the past few years has revealed just how resilient this ecosystem is. Fish jumping - and osprey, eagles, kingfishers, herons and egrets out looking for a meal - are common sights now - a far cry from the river of my childhood. Given continued care and protection, and the river could become a truly healthy place to live and play. Please support the Clearwater's mission and our Hudson River!
