Eliza has had to deal with challenges no 5 year old should ever have to face. She is more than halfway through her treatment for leukemia and is set to ring the bell in October 2025. She has made her way through everything with such strength and bravery and we could not be more proud of her. And, despite it all, she remains just the silliest, most kind and joyful kid there is.

We are so grateful for many organizations who have helped us through this journey - especially HopeCam. HopeCam is an organization based right in Reston, VA who support kids going through cancer treatment with tablets or computers, free of charge. These devices allow kids to stay connected to their classes and friends during their treatment - a time that is full of isolation and anxiety. Eliza has loved using her tablet to interact with her teachers, friends, and family and use it as a source of entertainment during long hospital days. The amazing people at HopeCam helped set up virtual connectivity with Eliza's school and also have visited in person several times to read books to Eliza's class about what she is going through. We are so thankful to have HopeCam's support and really believe in their mission to help kids like Eliza all over the world.
