Hello! We are participating in the 2026 Unified 5k and fundraising for AdaptX, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that creates access to better health and fitness for individuals with disabilities through education, research, advocacy, and scholarship.

Last December Hudson received a grant from AdaptX that purchased his very own monoski and outriggers!!!  🎉Something we would not have been able to give him on our own. This provided a way so that he could go downhill skiing whenever our family went without extreme costs! Trollhaugen encouraged us and helped us from day one and have gone above and beyond to make sure we were trained (at no further costs to us!) on how to help Hudson up and down the hills so that when his mono ski came we were ready! Receiving this grant and ski system was a huge blessing to our family! We love doing everything together and love the outdoors.

So we are running to help raise funds so that other families could receive a grant that would make their child’s dream possible. The science and equipment is available to make everything adaptable! AdaptX connects those to families who have no way of funding this on their own bringing dreams to reality! Allowing kids to be kids and do things many of us don’t think twice about. 

Hudson has had a tough year but we look forward to this winter when he can fly down those slopes again! He always amazes us with his grit and fortitude forged through his trials. He never gives up! Thanks for considering to give and helping other kids not give up!
