I’m inviting you to join me for an exciting and impactful event—the 1st annual Disability Awareness Walk & Roll benefiting the SonShine Club and other Upstate disability/special needs nonprofits! Together, we can help create awareness for the special needs community in the Upstate of South Carolina.
This April, let’s come together as Team Batson's Rock & Roll to walk or roll in this meaningful event. Not only will we have a fantastic time, but we’ll also be making a real difference in the special needs community.
The SonShine Club is dedicated to providing two Super Saturdays a month for adults with special needs and their caregivers. Last year, the SonShine club offered 5700 hours of respite to caregivers, served over 2000 hot meals, had an average of 97 adults with special needs in attendance. and took 4 field trips. While the SonShine Club is dedicated to ministering to adults with special needs and their caregivers, they also support, refer and collaborate with other local nonprofits to meet the needs of this community. Your participation in this event will help them continue their vital work.

The more, the merrier! If our team is chosen as one of the top 3 fundraisers, we will get to choose a disability/special needs non profit to donate a portion of our raised funds to! That's an added bonus!! I’d love to set a fundraising goal of $300.00 to amplify our impact.
