Sarcoma is a rare, aggressive cancer—for 11 years my wife has been fighting uterine Leiomyosarcoma and has faced it with astonishing courage. Between chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, radiation and Interventional Radiology procedures, she still finds a reason to smile each morning and make the most of every moment. We’ve been blessed to build cherished family memories along the way, including welcoming our first granddaughter.

Because of events like the Race to Cure Sarcoma, the SFA has poured more than $20 million into sarcoma research—funding over 200 grants in 12 countries. Those investments have led to nearly 200 publications, over $26 million in follow‑on funding, more than 10 clinical trials (with several pending) and two patents—bringing real hope for better treatments.
