We’re racing in honor of Louise Higgins-Duffy, our beloved mom, business owner, and powerful voice in the fight against sarcoma. Since 2019, Louise was a key part of the Stand Up to Sarcoma Gala, raising funds and filling the room each year with friends, family, and a community inspired by her strength and positivity.

Though her time was cut short, Louise’s impact lives on through her devoted family and her restaurant, Café Diem. Her passion continues to drive progress in sarcoma research.

Thanks to events like the Race to Cure Sarcoma, over $20 million has been invested in research, leading to real breakthroughs in treatment. Every step we take helps carry Louise’s mission forward and brings us closer to a cure.
