In 2022, I lost my younger brother, Zachary Springfield, to stage 4 Ewing Sarcoma—a rare and aggressive cancer that forever changed our lives. This year, I’ve created a team for the Sarcoma Foundation of America (Race to Cure Sarcoma) to raise funds for sarcoma research in his honor. Every step we take is a step toward better treatments, more hope, and ultimately, a cure.
Running holds a special meaning for me because it was such a big part of my brother’s life. Zack was an avid runner—always chasing new goals and pushing his limits. Even after his diagnosis, he laced up his shoes and kept going for as long as he could. His strength, determination, and love for running continue to inspire me every day.
Our team goal is to raise $700 to support the incredible work being done by SFA, and I would be so grateful for your support—whether through a donation, sharing our story, or cheering us on. Together, we can make a difference for families facing the same fight.
