Marianne was 22 years old—a sweet, kind-hearted young woman who loved animals and nature. She was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer.

For about two and a half years, she faced chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and countless difficult moments, always fighting with a strength that I, as her mother, will always admire.

Marianne passed away on December 16, 2025, at just 22 years old, but her story did not end there.

Today, we walk in her memory to honor her life, keep her name alive, and raise awareness about sarcoma. We also walk for all the young people and families facing this disease.
