I survived a SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) 10/13/2014. It caused a major heart attack, and I had to have emergency triple bypass surgery to survive. I was also 2 weeks and 6 days postpartum. SCAD is a rare event, with no risk factors, that most commonly strikes in women of a younger age and many of us are post partum.
