Calling All Syracuse Alumni:
Join Us in Supporting the Beach Roses Foundation!
This year marks a significant milestone for Paisley M., a 1996 Syracuse graduate and breast cancer survivor. Not only is she celebrating her 50th birthday, but she’s also commemorating five years since her diagnosis of triple-negative breast cancer. In honor of these milestones, Paisley founded the Beach Roses Foundation, aiming to make a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer.
To kick things off, the foundation is hosting the inaugural Beach Roses Walk.
The Beach Roses Walk brings together people of all ages to honor breast cancer survivors and those we've lost. Participants will raise funds to support groundbreaking research at Yale Cancer Center and initiatives like Livestrong at the YMCA. Our aim is to prevent and ultimately end breast cancer, while also improving and prolonging the lives of survivors.
Why We Need Your Help:
Chances are Paisley isn't the only person you know who's had to face breast cancer! Lately it seems all too common. And, more and more, younger women are being diagnosed.
There’s work to be done to ensure no one else faces the battle so many have. We also need to ensure that survivors benefit from targeted research and support that enables them to live longer, healthier lives.
Together, we can make a difference!
