Hello friends,

It is that time of the year again when I ask you all to please support my agency, the Oregon Health Justice Center. 

The Oregon Health Justice Center (OHJC) is a non-profit law center focused on improving patient health through trauma-informed legal care in medical-legal partnerships (MLPs). It is run by Laura Russell and myself - we provide free legal services to income qualifying patients in Federally Qualified Health Centers in Portland and Salem. 

Our Mission:

Through on-site collaboration, OHJC works to improve health outcomes of community members impacted by health inequities and injustice by providing trauma-informed legal services and training of medical and social work professionals in health care settings. Utilizing this multidisciplinary approach that addresses social determinants of health, we advance health equity and reduce unnecessary health care spending.

Once a year we reach out to our friends near and far to ask for support in our work. We so appreciate your contributions and participation in our event - enormous thanks!!
