2025 Race for Independence

A few reasons why I love working at The League (in no particular order)

• My office is a colorful space of complete chaos and they allow it to happen. This might not seem like a big deal but it helps to make the space mine and makes coming to work seem like coming to an extension of my home. It also gives me a chance to showcase my personality. In short they let me be me.
• The League doesn't just put their mission out into the universe and hope for the best they live it! Our staff, board and volunteers are a diverse group of individuals with a high percentage of them having a disability themselves. They all work to ensure people with disabilities are able to live the life they want on their own terms and to ensure the world around them allows that to happen.
• The League looks at the bigger picture and works at an individual, local, state, national and global level to assist individuals with disabilities in more ways than I can explain. It's awesome.
