Monadnock Developmental Services has been the Area Agency in the Monadnock Region for over forty years. The mission of MDS is to work towards inclusion, participation and mutual relationships for all people who are at risk of isolation from community. MDS promotes self-determination and quality of life, encourages a positive healthy lifestyle, develops an environment which encourages creativity, innovation and individuality, and ensures quality of supports. MDS serves those with Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Epilepsy, Severe Learning Disabilities, and Acquired Brain Disorders.

MDS's mission includes inclusion, participation and mutual relationships for all people who are at risk of isolation from community.  Our road race is at the heart of this mission and promotes positive health and dental hygiene so that individuals with disabilities can lead a healthy, active and overall quality of life. 

We are raising money for dental funds for adults with disabilities through our road race. The Run~Walk~Smile road race enables us to promote ourselves and health and wellness throughout our community at the same time.  Your donation goes directly to provide better dental healthcare and prevention to the adult population who receive services which thus directly impacts the lives of those we support.  We love that we can raise money by doing what we love while partnering with the Flutie 5K at the same time!
