Funds raised through this event support sarcoma research both locally and nationally. A portion of the proceeds helps fund research at Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, while another portion supports national sarcoma research through the Sarcoma Strong/MSTS Research Grant named after STL Cure Sarcoma.
This national grant program supports promising sarcoma research projects across the country that follow NIH research guidelines. Naming the grant after STL Cure Sarcoma allows us to track the impact of the research supported through our community’s fundraising efforts.
