Since 2019, the Monadnock Food Access Alliance has listened to the community, convened stakeholders, educated the public, and driven projects to reduce food insecurity while supporting the local food economy. We supported the creation of a local mobile food pantry and raised over $100,000 for the Local's Local Fund to purchase fresh food from local farms to distribute through the mobile pantries. Outside challenges like the pandemic, inflation, and shifting budget priorities mean that local resilience is all the more crucial now than in 2019. Let's get moving to build food security in the Monadnock Region!
