On September 17, 2022, I received the worst news of my life: I was diagnosed with Adrenal Cancer. The statistics were terrifying. And as you all know, the only thing that has ever mattered to me is my three boys. I prayed it was just a nightmare, but it wasn’t.
Through this unimaginable journey, I found purpose. I’m proud to say I founded the Adrenal Cure Collective, a nonprofit with one bold mission: to raise $1 million for adrenal cancer research.
By the grace of God, I am now almost three years cancer-free, despite being told there was a 90% chance it would return in the first year. I'm STILL fighting. And I fight every day not just for myself and my sons, but for the beautiful community I’ve gained along the way.
This year, I am personally donating to the National Institutes of Health, whose care and tireless dedication to ACC research will save lives. I’m also proud that our organization is now supporting four leading research institutions in the fight for a cure.
We’ve already lost too many incredible warriors. I won’t stop fighting until we see change. Last year, we donated $60,000 to research. We still have a long way to go, but as long as I have breath in my lungs, I will keep going.
