The National Pan-Hellenic Council is the governing body of the nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities. These organizations are committed to scholarship, community service and cultural enrichment. The primary purpose of the National Pan-Hellenic Council is to create and maintain high standards and to perpetuate constructive relationships both within and among our affiliate organizations. NPHC affiliates and their respective members have pledged to devote their resources to service in their communities as well as a lifetime commitment to the goals and ideals of each organization.
In said commitment to scholarship, community service and cultural enrichment, the National Pan-Hellenic Council will award scholarships to graduating seniors that exemplify high academic achievement, leadership, and involvement within the community. The application, essay and letters of recommendation will be reviewed by the National Pan-Hellenic Council Chicago’s Scholarship Committee.
