Why I Support the American Cancer Society
Cancer has been a very real part of my life. It has affected people in my close family and people I love, and those experiences stay with you forever. You remember the fear. You remember the waiting. You remember the strength it takes to show up for treatment again and again. You see what families carry and how quickly everything can change. That is why I am fundraising for the American Cancer Society. I want to support the research that gives families more time. I want to support the programs that make treatment possible. I want to help the people who are in the middle of a fight they never asked for.
The American Cancer Society is one of the largest running fundraising teams in the world and their runners help generate more than 14 million dollars every year for cancer research. That is real impact. That is real progress. And that is why this partnership matters. ACS is doing the work that moves us closer to better treatments, better support, and better outcomes for millions of people.
Their Hope Lodge program is one of the clearest examples of that impact. It provides free lodging for patients and families who need treatment far from home. It gives people a place to rest, breathe, and stay together during one of the hardest moments of their lives. That support matters more than most people ever see.
Now here is where Endorphins comes in.
Endorphins is an in person community. We show up for each other. We believe in supporting people through real life, not just online. And we want to make sure that anyone who is fighting this fight gets the best resources possible. If someone is running for ACS and raising money to fight cancer, we want to support them right back.
I will be matching up to $10,000 in donations because I want our community to stand behind this cause. And Endorphins will be giving 10,000 ACS charity runners full access to our training resources at no cost. If they are putting in the miles to support cancer research, they deserve best in class support for their training.
When you donate, you are helping fund lifesaving research. You are helping survivors. You are helping families stay at Hope Lodge. You are giving people more time, more options, and more hope.
Cancer affects all of us. This is personal for me and for so many others. If you feel called to support, I would be grateful. Together we can move closer to a world where fewer families have to face this disease.
