Community Action Center (CAC) – Northfield (Select Community Response Fund)
Since 1969, the Community Action Center has served individuals and families throughout Rice County, working to build a healthy, caring, and just community through resources, advocacy, and volunteer support. CAC has issued an urgent call to action as many families do not feel safe leaving their homes and are facing increased financial hardship. Immediate needs include donations of dried black and pinto beans, white rice, Maseca (masa harina), eggs, toilet paper, size 6 diapers, and menstrual products. With more families unable to work, requests for help with rent and utilities are rising; financial gifts to CAC’s Community Response Fund directly support housing stability for those most impacted.
