For 40 years, the U.S. Taekwondo Center has been helping children, families, and adults become stronger—both physically and mentally. Founded in 1986 by Grandmaster Sang Lee, the first U.S. Olympic Taekwondo Head Coach, the U.S. Taekwondo Center has grown to two locations serving Monument and Colorado Springs and a community of nearly 1,000 students.
While Taekwondo provides outstanding physical fitness and practical self-defense skills, our mission goes far beyond martial arts. Our experienced instructors specialize in working with children and families to reinforce the character skills that help students succeed at home, in school, and throughout life—including respect, focus, confidence, discipline, perseverance, and leadership.
At the U.S. Taekwondo Center, we don't just teach Taekwondo—we help develop strong, confident individuals prepared to succeed in everything they do.
