The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine educates physicians and healthcare leaders dedicated to whole-person care in Idaho and other underserved communities. Founded in 2018 as Idaho's first and only osteopathic medical school, ICOM was established to address a physician shortage in a state that ranks near the bottom nationally for physicians per capita. Roughly half of each graduating class enters primary care.
The Outside With Pride 5K is organized by ICOM students and reflects that mission: expanding access to care for people who face barriers to it.
