Our organization recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate in court for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. We are primarily grant funded, but this funding does not cover all of our operating costs. Our next largest source of income is money raised through fundraising efforts and charitable contributions. As we all know, this is not a fixed income. Believe it or not, in order to recruit and train one volunteer, it costs approximately $1200. In order to advocate for our local children, we need to recruit and train as many quality volunteers as possible. Any funding we receive would be utilized to recruit and train new volunteers, as well as, ongoing training for our current volunteers.
