The Mission of the Healthy Lombard Foundation is to address the epidemic of Childhood Obesity and promote a healthier lifestyle for all community members through the Triple A Approach of Awareness, Activities, and Achievement. Our vision is that by 2020, the Healthy Lombard Foundation will have been a major factor in the reduction of the childhood obesity rate by 5% in DuPage County compared to what it was in 2010. To accomplish this goal we need community support to underwrite the many activities and programs we offer such as our Fitness February Fair, our cable show, our many summer kid events, our take-home activity bags, and fantastic prize incentives to motivate children of all ages to actively participate and enjoy the benefits of a healither lifestyle.
