Giving DuPage is the host of this awesome DuPage Human Race event. This is our 8th year and we're so proud to have reached 10,322 people and raised over $631,000 for 135 local participating race charities since we began this event in 2012.
The race also happens to be a fundraiser for our organization and we strive to achieve our goals so we can continue to donate $3 of every $4 to the race charities.
In addition to the DuPage Human Race event, we are the local volunteer center whose mission is to promote giving and volunteering in DuPage County. Our role is to mobilize volunteers, equip organizations capacity-building resources and inspire community. We strive to connect volunteers and donors with local opportunities to give back.
Since 2006, Giving DuPage has connected over 7,600 volunteers to local causes and recognized 365 volunteers for their contributions to our community.
