Ride Assist Naperville (RAN) was founded in April 2016 with the goal to provide affordable and dependable transportation for seniors in our community, and their caretakers, to their medical appointments. RAN is a program under Naperville Seniors in Action (NSIA), a 501(c)(3) organization.
RAN's fully screened and insured volunteer drivers provide seniors, and caregivers, with affordable and dependable rides to medical appointments. The driver picks the senior up at their home, takes them to their appointment, waits while they are withi the doctor, then takes them home. The seniors maintain independence and the family does not have to leave work to take them to the doctor.
