Hello Friends and Family,
I am participating in NOVA's 10th Annual NO BULLying, which takes place virtually for the month of October. Last year, nearly 500 people joined together to stand up against bullying, create awareness of bullying in the community, and raise funds to support NOVA’s prevention education programs. I am proud to be a part of this year's event!
NOVA believes that education is the key to prevention and for more than 35 years, NOVA staff have been providing FREE prevention education programs to tens-of-thousands of students. Although school looks a little different this year, prevention education programs remain essential, and in an effort to reach children regardless of what learning model they are utilizing through their individual schools or extracurricular activities, NOVA educators have shifted many of our prevention education programs to virtual formats.
Each year, NOVA provides free prevention education programs to more than 30,000 students throughout Bucks County on topics such as personal safety, healthy relationships, harassment, cyberbullying, and bully-free classrooms. Each of these programs is designed to help children and teens build safety awareness, develop self-advocacy skills, and recognize resources available to them. Thank you for your support!
