Mission: The House of Charity is a nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to improve the health and life of children in Houston and around the Globe.
Vision: We envision a world in which every child receives the opportunity to reach their full potential regardless of their circumstances. Our mission at the House of Charity is to develop children for tomorrow by working with them today through the following programs:
· Children's Surgical Treatments
· Children's Healing Home
· Fire Safety and Burn Prevention Education
· Volunteer Development
· Disaster Relief and Recovery
Through our mission, we provide surgeries to children who are suffering from deformities and disabilities that can be cured through Children's Surgical Treatments; free convalescence for children who require specialized surgical care for severe burns, traumatic accidents, and congenital defects at the Healing Home; Fire Safety, Burn Prevention, and First Aid education to help create safe communities, offering social change opportunities to community members through the Volunteer Development; and responding to emergencies and disasters through the Disaster Relief and Recovery in Houston and around the world.
