Bank of Blue Valley began as an idea of what a community bank focused on the success of local residents and businesses should be. Bob Regnier, President, Chairman and CEO of Bank of Blue Valley, wanted to create a community bank where convenience, community partnerships and personal relationships were principal tenets supported by the best banking services available.
In 1989, Bob founded Bank of Blue Valley as a locally-owned, locally-managed community bank ready to assist residents and businesses in Johnson County and the Kansas City area with their banking and lending needs. Through building lasting relationships based on quality customer service, Bank of Blue Valley has been able to expand to the current five banking locations today in Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, Leawood and Lenexa. These strategically placed locations, along with extended banking hours (seven days per week) and the latest banking innovations have made Bank of Blue Valley a respected and trusted name in the community and regional banking.
