Orca Running Pass

At Orca Running, part of our mission is to partner with non-profits for each of our races. We believe that gratitude and awareness of issues both local and global goes hand in hand with running any business, as well as with the sport of running. Here is a bit of information about the non-profits we work with and how we try to help. As time goes by and Orca Running goes, we will seek to increase our involvement with non-profits.

Generally speaking, for each race we seek out a non-profit that fits well with that particular race. A good fit might mean that the non-profit is located close by, or it might mean that the non-profit's cause is related to running/health. We donate a portion of every registration fee to the non-profit, and also collect donations from participants during the registration process. We also give the non-profit some publicity to the participants in the race. The non-profit helps us out typically by providing volunteers for race day. It's a mutually beneficial relationship.
