Cancellation - 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk
While it is the mission of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s annual 5K Run/Walk and Community Day to remember the nearly 3,000 men, women and children killed on 9/11 and to honor the spirit and resilience of New York City, the health and well-being of our thousands of event participants is of utmost importance. Consequently, we have made the decision, to cancel the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk and Community Day on Sunday, April 26, 2020.
Description
The 8th annual 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk and Community Day will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Once again, the route begins in lower Manhattan and takes participants through scenic Battery Park City with iconic views of One World Trade and the Statue of Liberty. The 5K Run/Walk finishes adjacent to the Memorial plaza where Community Day takes place, which is an event free and open to the public featuring activities and entertainment for all ages.
