NOTE: You have several options when it comes to being a fundraiser for this event:

  1. Become a fundraiser yourself and encourage friends and family to support your fundraising goal
  2. Choose another walker (who has chosen to be a fundraiser) and support their fundraising goals
  3. Simply donate to PALS

Your donations and registration fees go toward the cost of patient care, which costs approximately $5,000 a day.

PALS does not receive any government grants and therefore all donations and fundraising activities are gratefully appreciated.

PALS was founded in 1980 to provide service to allow cancer patients to remain in their homes rather than being hospitalised.

PALS never charges a patient or their family for services, use of medical equipment or medical supplies. These services are available to all cancer patients who need them.

PALS is not part of the Hospital, Hospice, Government or any other organization, but cooperates and works with them all to enhance the care of our patients.

PALS is a registered charity (#171).
