Greetings Everyone,
Team Bryce is participating in the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware Freedom from Seizures Epilepsy 5k Run/Walk on Saturday June 1st by walking as well as raising money for the Epilepsy Foundation of DE. Bryce is 10 years old and has been experiencing seizures since he was a year old. As a parent seeing your child have a seizure is one of the scariest things to witness. My husband and I both experiencing hospital stays with Bryce, MRI’s, overnight EEG’s, medications, developmental delays, OT, problems with speech etc. at times makes us feel helpless, hopeless and even angry. Why our child????!!! My husband and I were devastated when we were told that Bryce had a seizure disorder and vowed to raise awareness to others to know that this minor setback will not discourage us because people who suffer from epilepsy are STILL great! God knew that my husband and I could handle this and would use us to help others who are also experiencing this get through it. Please join Team Bryce in spreading awareness for Epilepsy. For numerous years, Team Bryce won 1st place for raising the most money for the walk. Each year we raised between $2,000 to $4,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware through your generous donations. Bryce has been seizure free and finally discharged from neurology 🙌🏾 Thanks again to all who donated and/or participated in the previous walks. We will never forget all that you have done and continue to do for us. Thank you for the constant reminders that it takes a Village!
