Peoples Bank is the wholly-owned banking subsidiary of Peoples Bancorp of North Carolina, Inc. Our Corporate Office is located in Newton, North Carolina. Our bank has been in business since 1912, growing from a single office to 16 banking centers and one Loan Production Office in Alexander, Catawba, Iredell, Lincoln and Mecklenburg counties. Peoples Bank operates four Banco de la Gente offices and two Loan Production Offices in Durham, Forsythe, Mecklenburg, Union and Wake counties.
