Description
Join us in celebrating We are “All One Under the Sun.” Our community comes together in this family friendly fundraiser 5K in Anson B. Nixon Park to support LCH’s health center, social assistance services, and education and workforce development programs.
8:00 am: Morning-of Registration and Bib Pick-up. Morning of registration is $30 for 5K run/ $20 1-mile walk.
8:50 am: Sunbeams Kids Dash!
9:00 am: 5k Run Start (new course- map coming soon!)
9:05 am: 1-mileWalk Start
Course: 5K Course map. The 5k will be chip timed for results/scoring accuracy. The one-mile walk will loop the pond twice. The Kids Dash, for children 8 and under, will be a super fast 75 yards!
Amenities: There will be food, live music, goody bags, event shirts, and lots of fun family activities!
Awards: Cash prizes to Top three male and females! 1st $250, 2nd $100, 3rd $50. Medals will also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age groups. TEAMS will receive awards for Biggest Fundraisers!, Largest Team, and Best Team Spirit!
