We are the only non-profit in the state of Delaware that serve people with epilepsy and their families. We are proud to work in all three counties. Our mission is is to support all people impacted by seizures and epilepsy, reduce stigma and increase community awareness while leading efforts to facilitate the prevention and management of epilepsy throughout Delaware. We do this with two main programs: Community Training and Outreach and Direct Support. We train many groups (law enforcement, teachers, etc) on seizure first aid, recognition and management. For our Direct Support programs, we provide all Delawareans telephone access to a staff that can answer questions, direct to appropriate resources and provide support. We also have two support groups that meet monthly throughout the state that offer information and encouragement.
