Maggie Fischer Memorial Cross Bay Swim

On July 9th I’m participating in the Maggie Fisher Memorial Great South Bay Cross Bay Swim. The swim is a 5.5 mile swim across the Great South Bay from the Fire Island Light House to Bright Waters. All 100 swimmers in the Great South Bay Swim are raising money to benefit the Hospice Care Network Children's and Family Bereavement Program, and a scholarship fund in Maggie's name.  Maggie Fischer.  Maggie was scheduled to be a competitor in the event in 1999, but she passed away a few days before.
