As most of you know, two years ago, at the age of 26, our son/brother, William Bradley James (BJ) Sigafoos was in a motorcycle vs vehicle accident. For 13 days, we stood by his side as the medical teams did all that they could to save his life, but in the end, he would succumb to his injuries.
At the time that we were faced with all the facts, we as a family made the decision that we would look into gifting any viable organs that BJ could offer for someone else to hopefully be able to live a better/healthier life. On January 24, 2023, BJ was able to donate four of his organs to individuals in need as he left this life behind.
On March 29, 2025, we will be participating in the 20th Annual Race for Life for the third year. The 20th Annual Race for Life is South Carolina’s premier race focused on furthering education and awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation. We would love to have you on our team. In 2023, we had one team member to walk in the Race for Life and in 2024, thanks to many of you, we had 33 team members to join the mission either in person or from home.
